BovineMedia is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of cattle genetics, including semen, embryos, livestock, and related products. BovineMedia does not store, package, transport, or ship products unless expressly stated otherwise.

Shipping Responsibility

The Buyer is solely responsible for arranging shipment of all purchased products.

Following a completed purchase, the Buyer will coordinate shipping directly with the Seller and/or the designated storage facility.

Release Authorization

Once payment has been successfully processed, BovineMedia will:

  • Deduct the purchased inventory from the marketplace.

  • Notify the Buyer and Seller of the completed transaction.

  • Issue a release authorization to the designated storage facility.

Release authorization allows the storage facility to release the purchased inventory in accordance with its procedures.

Release authorization is not shipment.

Shipping Arrangements

The Buyer is responsible for coordinating:

  • Shipment date.

  • Pickup or delivery arrangements.

  • Shipping carrier, if applicable.

  • Semen tank or embryo tank requirements.

  • Shipping insurance, if desired.

  • Any required transfer documentation.

  • Any additional logistics required by the Seller or storage facility.

The Seller and/or storage facility will provide any information necessary to complete the shipment.

Shipping Costs

Unless otherwise stated in the product listing, the Buyer is responsible for all costs associated with shipping, including but not limited to:

  • Freight charges.

  • Shipping carrier fees.

  • Transfer fees.

  • Tank rental fees.

  • Dry shipper deposits.

  • Storage fees after purchase.

  • Insurance.

  • Applicable taxes or governmental fees.

Delivery Time

Delivery times vary depending on:

  • Storage facility procedures.

  • Carrier availability.

  • Shipping destination.

  • Weather conditions.

  • Regulatory requirements.

  • Buyer and Seller scheduling.

BovineMedia does not guarantee shipping or delivery dates.

Risk During Shipment

Once BovineMedia has issued release authorization to the designated storage facility, responsibility for shipment rests with the Buyer, Seller, shipping carrier, and/or storage facility.

BovineMedia is not responsible for:

  • Shipping delays.

  • Weather-related delays.

  • Lost shipments.

  • Damaged shipments.

  • Carrier performance.

  • Shipping costs.

  • Storage facility delays.

  • Failure of the Buyer or Seller to coordinate shipment.

International & Regulatory Requirements

The Buyer is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable:

  • Local laws.

  • State laws.

  • Federal laws.

  • Import and export regulations.

  • Breed association requirements.

  • Veterinary or health certificate requirements.

Any permits, documentation, inspections, or certifications required for shipment are the responsibility of the Buyer and Seller unless otherwise agreed between them.
